Easter Sunday
Mckenna had her first Easter in California..we went to our friends house named Melissa..Her and her husband have a beautiful house that's as big as Kamiloiki Park. We had a nice homemade lunch, then the kids went crazy looking for Easter Eggs. I had to carry Mckenna while running to beat all the kids that were eager to beat an "old lady". I succeded in getting some eggs, but the olders kids got to them before I could reach down and grab them. Mckenna didn't know what was going on, so she just sat in the grass and put her eggs in the basket and kept dumping them out. My friends Greg, Irma and Dylan joined us...it was soooooo great to see them. Anyways, I am still waiting to load some pictures...as soon as I figure it out, you will see lots of pictures. Aloha!
Chinese New Year
Happy Chinese New Year...Unfortunately, Craig says that she is not Chinese or Russian..she is Kazak. Mema bought her this outfit..I'm not sure if it was too small or McKenna is a big girl. I have more pictures of her in a kimono..that will come.
Mema's visit
Mema came to visit us for Presidents weekend and we had a lot of fun. We hung out at home a lot and one night we invited Darren Sakurai and his cousins over for dinner..they caught some lobsters of Palos Verdes, and they don't eat lobster...so we took advantage of that. IT was sooooooo good! On Sunday, Craig and I went to see "walk the line", since we never get to see movies anymore. It was great eating our popcorn and drinking a diet coke. My mom spoiled McKenna like she always does, and Mckenna enjoyed every minute of it. Here are some photos at the Aquarium..
Beach Day
We like to take the dogs to Huntington Beach every weekend, so McKenna gets to come along. We take beach chairs, water, and lots of balls for Bella. Bella goes crazy all over the beach chasing balls. Maile will go swimming only if the waves are calm. Mckenna sits on the beach with Craig or myself..whoever is not throwing the balls for the dogs. Mckenna likes to play in the sand and also put it in her mouth. She learned pretty quickly that it doesn't taste good. We stay at the beach for about 2 hours, then head to Rubio's for fish tacos. We usually try to rush home,because Craig plays hockey at 2pm. Here are some photos at the beach...
Mackie
Hello, today is Saturday March 4th and I decided to start another blog, so that all of you can view Mckenna as she is growing up. I will try to update photos every week. Mackie is now 14 months old and is growing up pretty quickly. She is on the verge of walking, so she is very mobile now. She crawls all over the dogs and touches everything in sight. Here are some old photos from December...I will post updated ones this weekend.
